I was really excited to get the new ep from this kick ass all-girl band from Minnesota, Rebel Queens. Crank this up!
There’s just something about this band that makes me feel good!
As soon as I heard the opening riff and (Tiffany) uttered a sound with her voice, I knew that I would likely instantly love the entire song and that’s exactly what happened.
If you did not show up early and see Rebel Queens tonight, you guys F*cked up.. big new fan here! A really really great band!

In the midst of an era claiming rock is dead comes a band of women that will make you remember the best of rock n roll! Based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Rebel Queens combines the fun energy of AC/DC with the rebel spirit of Joan Jett in the same way they seamlessly blend classic rock tracks and original music. The band was established by Tiffany Beamer (Lead Vocals) in 2011 with strong influence from the 70's all-female band, The Runaways. Their professional musicianship and ballsy stage presence pours into each song with gritty vocals, wailing guitar solos, tight harmonies, and a rhythm section that will keep you shakin' all night long. The current lineup features Tiffany Beamer (lead vocals), Danielle Pearson (drums/vocals), Katie Wyrd (guitar/vocals), Stevvie Mora (Lead Guitar), Kelsey Wyrd (bass/vocals).
Still riding high from their monster 10th anniversary year that included a celebration at First Avenue's 7th Street Entry, sharing the stage with iconic guitarist Nita Strauss, and their single "Ride On Thru," becoming their most-spun song to date. The song notably earned a regular radio rotation spot on 89.3 The Current (Twin Cities), who gave it 40+ spins in just a few months. The women of Rebel Queens have an exciting year ahead, including being chosen to perform at Rock Fest in Cadott, WI, expanding their tour schedule, and the release of their bluesy-hair-metal-arena-rock-esque anthem, "Rock Warrior," which promises rock music will continue to thrive with the bands and fans that carry it onward. Rebel Queens has made it their mission to pay homage to those that came before and inspire the next generation of Rock Gods & Goddesses.
