BIO
Rebel Queens is a long-standing band of women based in Minneapolis inspired by the gritty soul of Led Zeppelin, the rebel spirit of Joan Jett, and the electric energy of the 70s-80s rock music heyday. Their catalogue contains renditions of tracks by Def Leppard, Aerosmith and more, alongside original compositions that showcase the band’s unique style and talent. From the wailing guitars to the powerhouse vocals and fun-loving stage presence, Rebel Queens promises to delight listeners and reignite their love of rock & roll.
Throughout the past decade, The Queens have played over 400 shows and events. Some extra-memorable moments include being chosen to open for guitar-shredding icon Nita Strauss, performing two consecutive years at Rock Fest, and making their Sturgis debut at the famous Full Throttle Saloon. Rebel Queens continues to feature some of the top women musicians of the Twin Cities and the band has made it their mission to pay homage to those that came before while inspiring the next generation of Rock Gods & Goddesses.
